Located in Northern Michigan, Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department is a unique fire department that consists of three former township fire departments. Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department now operates as one department that covers three individual townships outside of the Traverse City area.
Fire Destroys Furniture Business
Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department and Traverse City Fire Department were dispatched to 2801 US 31 South for a furniture store with flames through the roof at 4:30pm on June 3rd.
